Step By Step Make Up Application: Concealer

Considering the array of concealers and highlighter on the market, you might think that none of us would have a dark circle to worry about. Unfortunately, there are colors that are too dark, too orange, too peach, too yellow, too rose, too pink, and too greasy (filling in the lines around the eyes), too dry, too thick, too thin.

Rule of Thumb: Choose a shade that is two tones lighter than the foundation. They must merge in order to loo blended. Apply the concealer next to the inside corner of the eye and gently blend it out along the lower lashes, avoiding the top of the cheek. The goal here is to not see where the concealer starts or stops. Blending is the best way to prevent lines and demarcation for this step. Use your foundation to soften the edges.

To help prevent tje concealer from slipping into the lines around the eyes, avoid greasy or thick products, and apply only a thin layer. A light dusting of powder over the face will also make a difference, but do not overdo the powder.
